Need help. The comics download to my computer fine but when I save to my flash drive everything transfers over correctly except page 25. The whole page is white except I can see the text bubbles. Any advice

Well I just finished reading the comic and what can I say. (Had to pay bills so had to wait to buy.)

It proves that Peter is the cream of the crop and there are bastards out there worse than Steve was.

As for the final assault scene. God, I don’t know which I was more, terrified or aroused. :D  :D I love the final panel and the fact that we are not sure how it ends. Love that once again, everything taken away from a woman, a woman who should have been safe.

I have a bad feeling about what Maggie said as she entered the room to change...
"I'm so happy, I'm gonna die."

I think Maggie's not dead but pregnant. Her internalizations are full of very Erenischean double entendres:

"It's growing and growing inside me, making me delirious with an unholy appetite.

Oh, baby."

It sort of reminds me of Game of Thrones, where we are constantly told that the world is brutal and the only way to get through it is to form no attachments and stop caring about injustice... only to watch the hardest of characters form attachments in spite of themselves and wind up ruined for it.

In a society arrayed against women, it's a mistake for a man to get emotionally involved with a woman, as Peter has done with Maggie. His attachment made him a target and gave him a vulnerability.

My absolute favorite moment of this issue: when Peter is worried that Sherry will get in trouble for assaulting a man. I have been a Peter/Sherry 'shipper for a long time, hoping the two of them would wind up together; but seeing them united in their protectiveness toward Maggie was just splendid.

I'm fairly certain that if she's not dead, she's definitely lost the baby. If Maggie shows up in another comic that isn't a dream sequence, I'm fairly certain that she won't refer to having a kid.

Other people have already commented on the ending, and their feelings largely echo my sentiment

I was glad to see the return of spanking in the comic. It's actually how I found the Birthday Gift series in the first place.

Maybe we should have a spoiler free announcement thread and another thread for actually discussing a comic? All those spoiler tags are making my wrist hurt.

(spoilers below)

The thought that Maggie might be dead didn't even occur to me before I read this thread - NO THANKS FOR THAT ONE, YOU BASTARDS! ;) - had to take a break before commenting here.

I don't understand why some people think that kind of ending would make sense. We've seen various happy females in the e-verse - in this very comic Jeff's mom manages to look proud and happy while having cum dripping of her chin in public - so things do not have to end bad for girls in this universe. Somebody mentioned "starting and ending the Birthday Gift saga with Maggie" made sense, but Birthday Gift was the saga of Maggie and Peter. And at least Peter's story is clearly not finished, the business he's busy establishing is getting a lot of screen time in this issue. Without Maggie, the Peter character wouldn't work anymore - who wants to watch a bitter and heartbroken teenage boy doing porn stuff?

IMHO, killing Maggie would be a cheap trick to get an emotional reaction out of your audience, nothing else. And it would have long-term effects that damage any upcoming stories: I certainly would be a lot more hesitant to get attached to other characters, for example.

That's why I don't think she's dead. And I actually think the cliffhanger isn't all that smart or heartbreaking or whatever. More like "meh..."

The alternative would be much more entertaining anyway: Peter really fucked this one up, how about some teenage relationship drama for a change? Some of the scenes in BG11 are way over the top anyway, as far as I'm concerned: in the bedroom scene, Peter and Maggie sound like they're starring in a cheap porn movie ("my sweet angelic whore" - "thanks for the pleasure and pain bestowed upon this cunt") - how about some yelling, or a pissed/depressive/jealous Maggie? Peter having to take Maggie on a trip to Paris to win back her love (not her devotion, obviously) gets my vote.

That said - the comic was great, obviously. Loved the Maggie/Sherry scenes, Tawny humming the Bunyhop song, the reveal of Peter's business partner (smart move!), all the attention to detail...

I agree with a lot of what you said. I'm 95% sure that Maggie is alive and kicking because like you said there still a lot for Erenisch to write about her and I think Erenisch left some bread crumbs on what she will be like in future comics. I love the scene with her and Sherry in the hall way. I think it is my favorite scene because we see how Maggie views on what is right and what is wrong has changed and I like how at the end of the conversation Erenisch gives us a clue on how Sherry sees that Maggie has changed. When I think about how she is bragging about preparing Gwen for an orgy or gangbang and how excited she is to be auctioning off Nathalie (sp) I get excited to see where Erenisch will take her character next. I also like how, unlike Maggie, Sherry is aware that she is being mean to Carol and she makes a conscious decision to be cruel to Carol.

The part of me that thinks perhaps Maggie didn't make has nothing to do with the comic. While, others are pointing out that a comic entitled Maggie's Dream is on the upcoming comic list. That worries me because dream could mean someone's hopes, goals, or what they wish for. It reminds me of The Outsiders with Matt Dillion and Patrick Swayze and of Amazing Spider Man 2 where at the end there are characters who lost someone they love and find comfort in either a letter or video and they are able to move on. Maggie's Dream could be that. There is that preview of Peter making out with Grace which could mean that he has moved on from Maggie.

I loved the comic and thought it was excellent, but I do agree with you on the ending. BG11's ending works really well if the comic was a stand alone comic, however it is not. Therefore, the ending puts me on the fence on how I feel about it. Part of me feels like I've been sucker punched and kicked in the balls. I'm not saying it should have ended with them being married I just don't like the characters Erenisch picked to do what they did to Maggie. I hate to say it but STEVE should not have died. Bascially Quinn was Steve's character in this sense. The ending would have been better if it was Steve who Peter said no to in the bathroom. As an audience we had a connection with STeve and knew that he was jealous of Peter. So basically Erenisch turned Quinn into Steve. If Steve was still alive and would have been the one who led the other boys in beating Maggie I don't think I would have felt that I was sucker punched because previous comics would have set that possible ending up. I believe, in this instance, that killing off Steve was a mistake.

The other part I did not like is when the three girls seduced Peter. I understand why Erenisch did it but I feel it hurt Peter's character. That scene was an opportunity for Erenisch to show how Peter had changed from a boy to a man. In BG1 Peter likes or loves Maggie. BG11 Peter loves Maggie. BG 2 thru BG10 Peter will freak any girl that he can get his hands on. BG11 Peter still will freak any girl he can get his hands on. If Peter would have said "no" that would have showed that Peter had changed otherwise Peter has not really changed in 11 comics. Also with Peter saying "no" it goes against everything those boys said to Maggie about him. Instead we find that Peter is just like all the other boys. What is interesting about a boy who is the same as other boys? That would have made Peter different and more interesting for future comics. I'm hoping his decision to freak these girls plays a bigger role down the line other than him feeling guilty that it either killed Maggie or got her hurt real bad.

I also think it might be too early to decide if this was a good ending or not. When we see these character again we will know.

I'm just going to put my entire review in spoiler tags, because it's easier that way.

Now, as for the rest of the comic,

As someone else mentioned before, the fact that her dream sequence that opens the comic is panel by panel identical to that in BG1 (albeit WAY better drawn) is great, as are the other nods to previous comics.

Given E's narrative style, which focuses on character development rather than plot, I think the best way to review would be by character.

Gwen, Sluttyfox :gwen:
I think her character in this was a little interesting, but only in the fact that she provides a foil for Maggie and Melanie, otherwise she doesn't really do much, though her comments about being nothing more than a tool for Maggie were amusing

Melanie, Cumpster :melanie:
Melanie is really one of my favorite characters, I liked her when we first met her and I like her even more now. Her casual, happy acceptance of her slavery, walking around completely uncovered for much of the comic without the least bit of embarrassment. I also love her analysis of slavery, how she sees slavery not only as an inevitability, but as desirable. Someone once pointed out that the term r@pe wouldn't exist in the E-verse, as consent is irrelevant, and i think Melanie epitomizes that ideal, it would be impossible to r@pe her, as she will willingly go along with anything, just happy to be collared. Speaking of collaring, I love seeing slave girls reinforcing the slavery of other girls, it's the idea that the girl could do something to give another girl greater freedom, but doesn't, not because she fears the repercussions, but because she believes, for example, that young cunts should be properly trained so they can be sold to serve.

Tawnie :tawnie: :

Tawnie's character arc is one of my favorites, in that she was the first character you see to totally accept her slavery. Much like Melanie, her enslavement was a way of avoiding a much worse fate, so for the most part she bears no bitterness over it. Later we see that she has even forgotten her birthname, instead referring to herself, even in thought, by her servonym. Honestly I thought her disobedience was a bit out of character, given everything we've seen of her before, true she is a sympathetic person, but she is also docile, obedient, and quite simple minded, after so long as a slave, she would truly believe that Paul was all knowing and could not be deceived.

Molly :molly: :
As you're supposed to, I hated Molly from the start, seeing the younger girls look down on her, I take great pleasure in. There really isn't much else to say, I would say the best moment for her was back in BG9 when you see Cumbunny take her out of the cage you see Molly unpack back in BG1 and then be forced to lick her to orgasm. After that, everything else is just icing on the cake of humiliation.

Heather/Fuckpig :heather:
I always found Heather's character interesting, she was enslaved almost simultaneously alongside Maggie, and they were very emotionally similar, yet ended up with very different Masters, you can see that easily in their servonyms, but over the course of the comics you see Heather also come to accept her slavery and actually almost be happy with it, which I like.

Carol :carol: :
Honestly, I don't like Carol, I like clinicified Carol more, simply because she's more attractive, but her character seems all over the place, it's previously been implied that she cares deeply about Maggie, especially since most of the thoughts and dialogue over the course of the story has reflected that. But then in this comic Sherry berates her for her neglect, which she admits to. Then despite having no visible aspirations to supplant Sherry, we get her comment about how good her Blowjobs are, which just seems out of character. But even assuming I'm missing some nuance of the writing, she's just annoying. As Sherry points out, her empathy is irrelevant, the world operates a certain way, she doesn't get to wear clothes without permission. Also, although the timeline isn't perfectly clear, the number of comics featuring them would imply that Sherry and Paul have been married for a good amount of time, which means Carol should have been able to see that Sherry's personality is not that of an innocent high school girl anymore, she's a sexual being that understands both giving and receiving pain, and is ruthless in her position as the head female in the house.

Peter :
Peter is an odd character in this comic, on one hand I really like his interactions with Maggie, the other slaves remarks on his attachment to her are great, and honestly, couples are sappy and ridiculous, I don't think the dialogue between the two of them is bad at all. But over the course of the comics we've kind of seem him grow up, mature, become more confident, but then we see him with the jocks again in this comic and it seems that his inferiority complex is returning, that their "we can take whatever we want because we're strong" mentality is really true. And before you point out that that idea is what the society is based on, you're less than half correct, in the entire series we've seen a lot of men, but the strongest, richest ones, the ones with not only the most slaves, but the best ones, are the smart men, not the cruel brutal r@pist, but the ones who first enslave a girl, by whatever means necessary, then r@pe her.

Now for the Big Ones:

Sherry :sherry:
I didn't like Sherry until she got with Paul, and honestly, maybe I'm oblivious, or maybe she's just a really good actress, but I never got the impression she didn't like Paul, I always got the impression that she was attracted to his unique brand of dominance in a way she doesn't altogether like. But she also loves the power that comes with being with Paul, I think Sherry really does like playing with "Mr. Whip" she likes turning the tables so to speak, being on the other end of the whip. I think her treatment of Carol was necessary, if a bit brutal, but as I noted above, Carol is a bitch.

Normally I don't ship girls together, but I just love Maggie and Sherry together, how they're lovers, friends, and fellow slaves, all in one. How Sherry is more naturally dominant, but she once belonged to Maggie adds spice to their relationship. Up until Peter shows up I love their interaction, it's just so mature, like they could spend the rest of their lives interacting just like this every morning, Sherry's attitude in this scene is great, she hasn't just accepted her slavery, it is her entire way of thinking. It's the little things, like Maggies remark about Sherry's "cute little office outfit" in our world such an outfit would be degrading, not cute, but they talk so casually about that, and Maggie's leash, and training slave girls, it really is a great level of immersion.

Maggie :maggie: :
My favorite slave girl by far, I just love how in love with Peter she is, how she'd do anything for him, how she almost literally worships his cock. How her every thought is of how to better pleasure him, it's great. This girl who entered the story as an innocent virgin now walks around naked without shame, tells her erstwhile classmates they may not cover up their pussies, crawls commando on a leash, has intense lesbian sex with her best friend, and her only objection to being ass r@ped by her boyfriend's (our world term for their relationship) father is that he hasn't gotten permission from someone who isn't her, .But she also isn't a one dimensional character, she clearly cares about her mother and Sherry, has likes and dislikes, and is altogether an interesting, well developed character.

I honestly don't think she's dead, that wouldn't really meet the criteria for the happy ending that E promised us, and also, the E verse just wouldn't be the same without her, with that level of tragedy you introduce far too serious a set of concepts into my porn. I love Maggie, and like everyone else, I don't want anything to happen to her, I was so happy when she gift wraps herself in preparation for marrying Peter, which makes it all the worse when she's brutally gang r@ped. Seriously, she can't be dead.

Other thoughts
I have mentioned it before on this forum, and this comic brings it again to light, laws about using someone else' slave are far too loose, now I understand the idea that society is skewed against women, so a free woman has no legal recourse if she's r@ped, unless her CMR takes legal action, but then it's little more than a slap on the wrist. But the idea that if one guy says to another, "hey, can I brutally r@pe her in the ass" and the other says "no" but the first guy is stronger and does it anyway, there are basically no consequences, just seems rather ridiculous to me. Slaves are expensive, thus why most guys can only afford one or if they're lucky, two, so another guy taking a slave by force could be very costly, not only to the girls flesh, which let us assume is fairly cheap to replace, but also in various fees and time spent training, which is not cheap. A previous discussion compared the value of a slave girl to that of a used car, but even a used car, if someone hopped in and took it for a drive without permission, you would have legal recourse, and if they damaged it, they would at least have to pay damages, which no one ever mentions in the E-verse. Now I know that all the money in the world can't replace Maggie, but destruction of property really should be treated with more gravity and greater consequences.

There, my rant is done, all in all I think this is the best in the series so far, totally love it, now I understand why this masterpiece took so long to release.

I would assume that the charges would at the very least be theft or robbery (depending on Pussiana's definitions of the corpus delecti. Also, assuming Maggie is dead, would there be a fetal homicide law (further assuming that Peter could prove that Maggie was pregnant and the r@pists knew of it)?

OTHERGUY’S REVIEW OF BG 11
(Warning. Here there be Spoilers)

Alright, so a few weeks have passed since the publication of BG 11, so I think maybe now is the good time for some full-on spoiler discussions. I traditionally write a super-long detailed review, and I’ll be damned if I’m going to stop the tradition now, but a lot of other people wrote a lot of great, long reviews already, so a lot of the things I want to say have already been said. So I’ll speak my piece about this comic, and then, hopefully, this thread will serve as a good place for spoiler-heavy discussion about it, without needing to black out everything. (Disclaimer – I do feel I ought to at least mention in each of these reviews that I am the farthest thing from an un-biased source. As a dofantasy editor, I had the honor of editing this comic before it was published.)

First: BEST. COMIC. EVER. No doubt. I’ve held out a long time with my insistence that BG 8 had not yet been topped, but I can hold out no longer. E is a master story-teller and artist and these comics just keep getting better. It’s incredible, but the quality of these comics just continues to rise. BG 11 was not just the best porn comic I’ve ever read, it was the best porn I’ve ever read. The best erotic story of any kind that I’ve ever read. In terms of story structure and character development, this was better than a lot of main-stream non-porn comics. E continues to prove just how good porn stories can be. To try and give this review a little structure, I will break it into sections of what the comic did so well.

THE REFERENCES TO OTHER COMICS
As other people pointed out, the first scene was brilliant. I loved seeing Maggie fantasize about Peter in the exact way he fantasized about her in the first issue. I love that we get to see inside Maggie’s mind and confirm that she truly does love Peter, and at the same time, the scene is such a great Easter Egg for fans who read issue one. E has this amazing ability to accomplish several things at once in one small scene, and the opening scene perfectly exemplifies that.

I also loved the other mirroring of earlier comics, as others pointed out, such as the scene with Peter and Jack in the bathroom. Also, when Peter walks in on his dad at home, Sherry and Paul are in the exact same position Molly and Paul were in, only now Molly is the worthless slave licking the mistress’s pussy. And whereas last time Peter expected a car but got a slave, this time he expected a slave but got a car. I could go on, but the references to past issues abound.

As always, the high level of detail and consistency of E’s world really makes everything come to life. We’ve gotten a bit spoiled by this time, so we practically take it for granted, but just look at how detailed and consistent this world is! The twins old dog dishes are piled in the background in the garage, all the characters have consistent (iconic?) clothing like Sherry’s “cum-loving cunt” shirt. There are so many brand-names of products and posters and celebrities in this world, that make it into each issue. It’s really an achievement.

Also, did anyone else notice the men’s room door sign with the girl on her knees? how long has that been there? There are so many awesome details its literally impossible to write about all of them!

TIED UP ALL THE ON-GOING PLOTLINES AND CHARACTER GROWTH
When reading this comic, you can really tell that E set out to tie off all the open loops. It was a gargantuan task, but E pulled it off nicely, and smoothly. And this is really why I have to admit BG 11 is better than BG 8, which accomplished much the same feat. But whereas BG 8 skillfully balanced plots in the middle of a story, BG 11 skillfully brought them all to a satisfying conclusion.

We finally got a lot of scenes we’d been waiting for. The scene between Sherry and Carol for instance. For several issues, E has been hinting at a rivalry between the 2, so E shoved a scene with them into what was already a large comic. And it was a great scene. It almost felt to me like E realized they hadn’t had a scene like this in other comics, so it would be unforgivable to let the series end without doing it.

E was very mindful in this comic of all the on-going plotlines that the fans were waiting for resolution on. We got to find out who Peter’s mysterious partner was, which had been teased before, so it was nice to see that the author did have a plan and paid us off.

Basically every character we’ve ever met made an appearance in this story, yet it all flows naturally and easily, without interrupting the pace. Again the logistics alone of that accomplishment is staggering

THE EMOTIONS AND THE ART
But even more important than the plot is the character growth. In the long list of things I love about these comics, I think the top thing is that each of these characters feel like real people. They each have unique personalities and they grow and change over time.

I loved seeing how Maggie and Sherry were so casually accepting of selling Nathalie. It was a small thing, but I liked seeing how this is normal to them. I liked seeing Maggie and Heather sharing a moment, like the 2 old friends they are.

Returning to the scene between Carol and Sherry, it worked for me on a lot of levels. I always love seeing young girls dominate older girls, for the sake of serving men. That’s one of my favorite themes. I like seeing women who have no allegiance to each other, and instead help keep other women down, and it makes sense for the younger prettier girls to be the ones who get the men’s favor, so in a male-dominated society young women would keep the older ones in line. But I especially liked seeing Carol try to manipulate Sherry with her “old friends” routine and Sherry not going for it. It really shows a lot about both their personalities.

The scene was full of great details, like Sherry making her give up the earrings. And her making Carol call her “Mrs. Stevenson” and telling her the door wasn’t locked but she wasn’t allowed to leave or make a sound because she didn’t want to be reminded of her presence for a while.

And then, right after that, she’s all smiling and happy with Carol’s daughter, as if that was all normal, which to her, it is! Great details, great dialogue, great everything.

And look at that art! Look at the way Sherry throws her shoulders back triumphantly as she puts on the strap-on! Look at the way she rolls her eyes when Maggie calls her out for ass-r@ping her mom. No other erotic comic artist really seems to have mastered facial expressions and body language in the way that E has. But damn, look at it!

Look at Maggie’s conflicted body language when Peter shows up, look at her backwards glance as she and Peter are leaving. Each look in each panel is full of unspoken thoughts and context, and this is just from when I micro-analyzed one scene. We could do that with every single one!

To go back to another scene I already mentioned, look at the way Maggie points at herself proudly when she brags to Heather that Peter may marry her. Look at the many, many genuine smiles on Maggie’s face throughout the story. Our artist shows us the muscles in her neck contracting; this is a real human body, with real human emotions. So much more than empty sack of tits and ass that some comics deliver.

THE DEEP STUFF AND THE ENDING
I have to end this review at some point, so let’s see if I can wrap it up… As each comic develops, I feel they delve deeper and deeper into philosophical territory. And this entire comic, especially the last half went deeper than ever before. Yet E always makes sure to tell an interesting story first and the philosophical stuff never slows down or detracts from keeping everything interesting and sexy.

I was fascinated that the girls who distracted Peter seemed to have no idea what they were doing might be wrong in some way. What was it they said? “we’re just little girls…”? It’s an interesting idea, in the E-verse women have essentially lost their free will, so these girls seem to think that the concepts of right and wrong don’t really apply to them anymore. They just do what they’re told, never wondering if it might be good or bad.

That gets me thinking, what really is good or bad in this world? We’ve spent 11 issues living in a world where people got used to the idea that taking away all women’s legal rights and reducing them to the status of objects, was ok. And it was certainly sexy and hot. But if we accept the premise of the E-verse, and their moral system, then is anything wrong? If the old moral system no longer applies in this world, what, if any, morals do they have?

To me, watching Maggie get r@ped was sort of E reminding us “hey guys r@pe is actually still a bad thing.” The entire last half of a comic read sort of as a deconstruction of the worldview espoused in the series. I don’t think E really came down on either side of this question, but E did manage to raise it and have the characters debate it in an utterly fascinating and though-provoking way.

Is it really possible to indulge in dark desires to dominate and abuse, and also have a loving relationship or a stable society? People like Jeff’s mom, Cumpster and Maggie certainly seem to think so, especially in Maggie’s speech. But Quinn and his gang of thugs seem to imply otherwise.

I, for one, desperately wanted Peter and Maggie to live happily ever after. Probably because in my mind, they’ve become a proxy for me, and my real-life bdsm relationships. But the ending seemed to cast doubt over that.

I was concerned that Maggie seemed to possibly be dead at the end, of course, but I was actually more upset that Maggie orgasmed at Quinn’s command, and that Peter let himself be distracted so easily and for so long.

Maggie’s gang-bang at the end was so different from when Peter used her. It seemed so much more horrifying. But I also got the impression that it was the best sex of Maggie’s life. I mean, look at that scene; that looks way more intense than the scene where she orgasmed for Peter in the first half. And we were told that orgasm with Peter was her first orgasm in a long time. What does that mean? Maybe our deep animal instincts to dominate and be dominated out-weigh the more cerebral love we feel for some one we want to spend the rest of our lives with. And both Maggie and Peter seemed to have the same problem, their animal instincts seemed to overwhelm, for a moment at least, the love they supposedly feel for each other.

So to me, the most painful thing to read was not the possible death of Maggie, so much as the dismantling of the idea of their relationship. What was Maggie’s love for Peter originally based on? Just that he owned her and broke her. So what if some one else, some one stronger just took her and broke her again? Would she love them? Does love between a Master and slave even really exist? Is their love for each other “real love” or is Quinn right in his monologue?

That monologue by Quinn… man… that is a dark fucking monologue. Jesus Christ. “…you thought you were special? You’re not special… once you are gone he’ll move on to the next pair of tits… you’re nothing but temporary indulgences… you’ll lose your attractive qualities one by one… you’re brain will switch the sensation in order to cope with the agony… your mind will surrender to us.” Then as if to prove his point, Maggie orgasms on his command.

…wow that fucked with my head. A disturbing scene, but undeniably well written and powerful. Quinn isn’t just assaulting Maggie, he’s assaulting the IDEA of Maggie. He’s trying to rob her (and us) of her image of herself, of her idea that she could be the fairytale slave girl and be perpetually abused and loved at the same time. Quinn is saying that kind of love doesn’t even really exist.

I’m also disappointed in Peter’s rather lack-luster performance as Maggie’s owner and protector. He let himself get distracted for way too long, and then when he finally did run off to rescue her, it wasn’t much of a rescue. Yes, he did heroically kick down the door and knock out 2 guys, but then he himself needed to be rescued by Sherry. Don’t get me wrong, having Sherry rescue Peter and Maggie worked great from a dramatic perspective, it was a nice climax to their little 3-way relationship. But it didn’t make Peter look any better.

When I first edited this comic, it ended on the rather somber note of Peter holding Maggie, with Quinn and his dark monologue apparently having “won.” But, in one of my all-time greatest editing saves ever, I discovered that dofantasy had misplaced the last 2 pages, which included Maggie’s graduation speech, and got them added back in. The addition of the speech really elevates the story to true greatness.

Everything about that speech is wonderful to me, wonderful and deep. I love Maggie’s little hand-written edits on it, which show her personality. But I love even more the “deep level” philosophical stuff going on. Maggie talks in her speech about how as a free girl she was burdened with meaningless choices, what to wear, what to eat, what movies to watch… “choices with no substance, choices that did not help her in her confused search for meaning.”

I could read that all day. You know why? Because our lives are like that too. We all THINK that we’re free because we are distracted by all these meaningless choices, but at the end of the day, what is freedom? Does deciding which shirt to wear or which movie to watch really mean we are free, or are those just meaningless distractions? Do we really control our lives in any meaningful way, or are we just slaves to our system too?

The real truth is that a variety of meaningless choices isn’t real freedom. It’s just a more clever system for controlling slaves. Not so different from having a “democracy” with only 2 political parties that have very closed rules and prevent any truly new ideas from ever being voted on in the first place. We are given the ILLUSION of freedom by a carefully planned society. We are given a very controlled artificial set of choices, to keep us distracted, but we aren’t truly free.

…and all that came up in a porn! God, I love you E!

Maggie wraps up her speech by making essentially the opposite argument Quinn made, that now her life is meaningful and fulfilling and happy, as Peter’s slave. And that a society which breaks girls and turns them into other Maggies is essentially a good society. She wrote this speech before Quinn’s assault, and we are left imagining her giving this speech to a crowded room, celebrating her slavery and her love, a perfect happy ending to the our story. But Quinn has cheated us of that happy ending.

So really, we have both the tragic ending, and the happy ending to our story at the same time. And we are left thinking deeply about everything that happened. Wondering what it means, and anxious to find out what happens next.

This whole comic is beautifully done, it works on every level. You can delve into as deeply as you want, and it still holds up. If this isn’t great art, I don’t know what is.

‘Nuff said.

I don't think anything I've ever read/watched/ listened to has physically affected me like this comic did. I'm still shivering (whether in rage or fear I can't really say) Bravo Erenisch, masterful work.

I was in a state of shock after I read it. It undeniably powerful. It's hard to explain this series to people who haven't read it. We just don't expect a pornographic comic to be like this.

Great review. I loved how you mentioned how Quinn and them broke Maggie and made her do things that we saw in Bg 10 that she would not do with with Paul. They complete broke her both in body and spirit.

The only thing I can compare that to is at the ending of Game of Thrones, the book, is when Cersei does the same thing to Eddard Stark. Anybody who's read the book knows what I'm talking about. Just like this comic that ending shocked a lot of people and caused some outrage.

Sadly, no matter what kind of artistry is invested in it and how fine a product that produces, pornography is always held to the lowest standard. That's why a lot of talented people who would like to address sex as a subject matter simply don't try. If you have to make a living off your creativity, it's a very bad bet.

Right now Nina and I are shopping a TV project about sex and everywhere we go, we get the same reaction: "Great idea! I love it! Too bad it's about sex."

And this in the country that consumes more porn than the rest of the world combined.

brilliant as always Otherguy.

I'm reposting my review here without the spoiler bands.

here it is:

First of all!

This is one perv's opninon but Graduation is the BEST episode of the BG series, and maybe the best of all E comics.

There is so much going on. Any other artist could tell all this story in 3-4 comics. E gives us all that in one extended comic.

We all know that all E characters are fully developed. E also develops individual relationships between characters. Count how many meaningful encounters there are: Peter with Maggie, Mel with Gwen, Tawnie with Molly, Molly with Paul, Paul with Peter, Sherry with Maggie, Sherry and Mel, Sherry and Carol, Peter with Jack, Peter with Quinn, Vice P with Peter, Peter with Jeff, and so on and so forth all reveal something important about the story. There is no meaningless pointless dialogue in this thing. So well done. I'm proud of E for this accomplishment and I feel a little proud of myself for being able to get most of the tricks he/she uses in the story.

How many subplots are in there? It is amazing how none of that slows the main story down.

REFERENCES TO THE SAGA

Most of you must have gotten this: Maggie' dream sequence in the beginning is shot-by shot repruduction of Peter's dream in BG1. Marvelously reversed. It is Maggie who is cursing the bell for ringing too early. the art is fantastic! I felt I got my money's worth with those two pages alone.

When Jack enters the boys room and sees Peter with his two slaves. Brilliant callback to the original comic, seamlessly integrated.

Lucy being used as a toilet slave? They always mentioned it, but now we see it.

Gwen thinking "Am I Cathy now?" as she licked Peter's ass.

Maggie and Heather chatting ion page 42. Not sure of this one but it feels like a callback to Repurposed.

Of course the biggest and most important callback to the original story is the part where Peter returns home and his father gives him the gift. That is a perfect inside joke and a brilliant way to summarize the story arcs of all these characters. Full circle.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

You wonder where Peter's Frankie Stein poster is? check out page 32.

I mean what other artist does that?

Wardrobe continuity! Our favorite shirts. In the beginning Gwen is restrained by the same harness Sherry was restrained in BG3.

Posters on the background!

MELANIE!

is my favorite character in the whole EC universe. I'd marry her and have tens of kids with her.

OTHER COOL STUFF

Bunnyhops theme song?

Molly's ultimate humiliation.

evidence that Sherry's evil plan is working.

Peter's partner revealed as Mr. Moore.

Cindy and the twins at the park

Maggie's speech.

interconnected scenes at the and, the gangbang vs the reverse gangbang. It is not only perfect porn scenes, but also emotionally powerful and suspenseful.

Jeff's mother with cum on her chin.

Hannah Cox emoji

MISSING PARTS

I really wanted to see Gwen at the grad party.

I also wanted to see Nathalie's online auction, but I guess we may see that later anyway.

THE ENDING

The ending is magnificent! It can work two ways.

If you think Maggie is dead after all this, it is a heartbreaking ending. It would be a perfect ending anyway. Birthday Gift saga is Maggie's saga. It started with her, and it ends with her.

But.

I don't believe Maggie is dead for a several reasons.
1) Maggie can't be dead because then the scene becomes a Sn**f scene. it is not allowed in Dofantasy, right?
2) There is a Maggie comic in Erenisch's project list: "Maggie's Dream". This makes me think that she will survive, maybe in a coma as someone else suggested before.
3)We don't see Maggie dying. we see only Sherry's reaction. She is worried but she doesn't say she is dead!
4) Erenisch promised us a happy ending for Maggie and Sherry. Maggie's death is not a happy ending.

So,

[spoiler]I see the ending as a happy one. It is the typical "hero saving the damsel in distress" ending. Here prince charming was a little too late for the rescue, but because this is a porn comic, it had to be that way. She is tired and fainty. If you read the ending that way, it is still a very good ending.

I have to admit, dead Maggie ending is the better one for the comic and the saga, but I prefer the sleepy Maggie ending for obvious reasons.

It is brilliant actually, E gives us two great endings in one, and we can't know which one is real until the word of god confirms one.

E, you simply outdone yourself in this comic. I think it is one of your best comic and not just because of its lenght.

It is so good, I couldn't know why I found it so great compare to other of your comics, particully the latest ones. (I'm not saying that they where not good, just that this one is sublime ! ) It kind of bothered me a bit...got me thinking...got me looking at your previous work.

At last, I think I found what, in my humble opinion, puts this comic on a whole new level. That is : SUBJUGATION OF THE SLUTS. The majority of the females are ''broken''. I know that I read quite a few comments in this forum (or/and in the old one...yes, I've been a fan for many years) that following a ''broken'' slut is boring, that the fun is over.
I completely disagree. It adds to the fun. Seeing a slut who craves approval is such a massive turn-on. A Master can command her in doing nasty stuff, and even if she's reluctant, the slut still will do it.
---That's power, sickos and sickettes, seing a bitch struggles but doing as commanded without a beating !! (Some slaps to the face would just add to the fun)---

And I'm not only writing about Cumbunny. In this comic, there are so many cunts who are so deep in their submission state that it is awesome to see.

-Cumpster: We see how content she is of her condition. She fully accepts her degrading name, accepts being a somewhat worthless slut ( being push away,
out of sight, after giving her all in pleasing her Master ). She's happy to be fed dog food and being locked in a cage. Yes, she's really fun to watch.

-Sluttyfox: Her jealousy towards Cumbunny is so hilarious and pathetic ! A slave itching to be abuse and degraded; what a incredible state of mind !!

-Molly: Just the way she meekly accepts the total lost of her freedom of speach is estatic. That scene is incredible, the commanding way her Master decide her
fate on a whim, the violence in witch he makes her understand is awesome.

- Even the secondary roles, there is subjugation. The girls being abuse in the classroom, Crapharlot striving to do a good job in the school bathroom AND thanking
her superiors for thier harsh lesson.

- The three new characters that distract Peter at the end of the comic. One actually BEGS him to be use like some cheap whore.
There is a scene with these four, where Peter is mad and demand to know where is Cumbunny, is really good. To see the way he holds these bitches; one by her stupid hair, one by her throat and the last one by simply stomping his feet on her face while she naked, on all fours, outside on the ground is simply EPIC !!
Plus it adds so much to the scene taht he treats them that way AFTER these sluts just finish pleasuring him. Again EPIC scene !!

Well, E, I really hope you agree with me and continue on with this method. Please, let me know what you think.

E, If you like my way of thinking, I have two suggestions/ideas.

1)- As you wrote that there will be another comic involving Miss Yummycunt, peharps you could make one of the most apprieciated character subjugated like that.
I mean, yes, she already accepted her role as a puppy, but make her relationship with her owner more intense. It woudn't have to be a loving one, just one
where she would be eager to show him that she is not just a good puppy, but GREAT one, eager to show her worth.

She would strive to always act as a well trained dog, losing herself in her role, losing her personnality, her wants and needs to that of her Master. A bit
like you wrote
Quote:
'' until (a slut) mind melts and disappears into (her Master's) will ''

That would amuse her Master, Mr Kitts, to no end...he would test her...would be sometimes harsher with her just to see her struggeling to do his bidding.

I can imagine a scene like this ( an example) :
Yummycunt fails to strut properly with a doggy biscuit balancing on her nose. The biscuit falls on the ground, and immediately Yummycunt rush over on all fours
to her owner feet whimpering an excuse with sad puppy eyes. (Not asking forgiveness, but whimpering one, not forgetting that she's forbidden to talk)
Her Master wouldn't be mad, he would just shake his head saying how dumb his bitch is, not being able to comply with an exercise. Yummycunt would whimper
again, place her face to his feet, showing her despair at displeasing him.
As the relationship would have evolve, he wouldn't have to beat her, just scolds her, give her one or two slaps (to her butt or face) and telling her to do much
better with a second chance he's giving her.
That, by itself, would give Yummycunt so much joy...she would bark her happiness, letting her tongue hang out of her mouth, and start to wag her butt like
a good bitch before crawling back into position.

2)- This one is in regard to any scene with a slut eating dogfood. It would be nice to show in details how nasty it is. Peharps with some dog bone sticking out of
the bowl, maybe with leftover human food mixed in it; discarded lettuce, half eaten eggs...well, nasty stuff.
